"Your story is not just what happened to you—it’s what you choose to build from it. I help people turn pain into progress and purpose into power."

FatuM is a writer, speaker, and business coach who blends bold storytelling with strategic insight. Author of six deeply human novels, she empowers women creatives and entrepreneurs to find their voice, share their truth, and build purpose-driven businesses.

Born amid the Liberian civil war, FatuM rose from adversity to become the first girl in her family to attend college. She went on to compete in national debates, host youth radio shows, and speak on global stages.

Today, she’s Halifax’s first hijabi runway model, a TEDx speaker and curator, and host of the Canadian International Peace Conference. A Forbes-featured storyteller and award-winning peacebuilder, FatuM holds degrees in Technology Entrepreneurship and Peace & Conflict Resolution, and is a certified speaker with CAPS.

Through FatuM Storytelling & Co. and her social impact initiative, HEARTS Global Network, she offers speaking, writing mentorship, and business coaching—transforming stories into platforms for healing, leadership, and change.
